Nicanor Garcia Sr. Elementary School, being an independent school for 56 years, has done its commitment to its learners and community. It offers great opportunities to unleash the potential of the learners armed with skills, competencies, and values through online/offline classes to develop self-motivated and competent individuals. It is committed to increase and hone its learner’s proficiency in attaining a high-quality performance in every aspect of educational endeavor despite the new normal system. 

The school instills the values and develops the most essential learning competencies that are considered necessary and desirable to ensure lifelong learning. The teaching personnel are continuously being trained with different online platforms to make teaching and learning experiences worthwhile for the learners. Utility and security personnel were also trained with appropriate skills to keep the school clean and orderly, and safe from the virus. It also accommodates Accreditation and Equivalency (A and E) and Livelihood online classes for out-of-school youth learners.

The school management has been consistently coordinating with our local government units, both city and barangay in cooperation with the GPTA Officers to address certain issues and concerns regarding the learners’ welfare and education. NGES believes that constant communication between the internal and the external stakeholders is best to meet the needs of the school learners (online and full modular). 

Nicanor Garcia Sr. is continuously moving forward to the implementation and development of strategies to strengthen and sustain pupils’ performance. The school team collaboratively comes together in response to the issues and concerns, and numerous programs, projects and activities that are being implemented following strictly DepEd policies and procedures, and health and safety protocols which are essential in every institution. It is expected that learners and the school community will demonstrate appropriate behavior to achieve goals despite difficult circumstances.

With the creation of this website, the school has established programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) intended for the welfare of the school learners. This will serve as the online platform for the information and guidance of all stakeholders.
